ARECA's member associations, located throughout Alberta, work directly with producers to enhance their operations through applied research and extension.  It is the goal of each organization to help keep farm operations economically and environmentally sustainable.

We recruit for a wide variety of positions at our member associations throughout Alberta, and are always interested in hearing from candidates with a background which includes:

          Post-secondary education in areas like agriculture, environmental sciences, agronomy, livestock and crops sciences,
          agricultural soil and plant biology

          Experience with animal husbandry, grazing management, forages, silage, livestock/alternative lifestock, riparian areas, data  
          collection and research test plots, client service and safe equipment operation

Those who wish to work with an ARECA member association must be reliable, able to work both independently and with a team, have strong interpersonal skills, have an interest in innovative farming practices, be highly organized and have a passion for the agricultural sector.
