Sonja Shank

Program Coordinator, Environmental Farm Plan

Meet Sonja Shank. Sonja brings her master's education in ruminant nutrition and her research experience to the role of program coordinator with Alberta EFP.

Sonja has worked for various research associations in both Alberta and Saskatchewan, as well as for both provincial governments in an agricultural and extension capacity. She also works on special projects for ARECA partnering with the Canadian Forage and Grassland Association and the forage and research associations across the province.

Sonja lives with her family on a small farm north of Edmonton and tries to bring the producer common sense to her work with EFP and ARECA.
